The LOS ANGELES COMEDY FESTIVAL: SCREENING SERIES presents a stellar line-up of short films, TV pilots and web series from around the globe in the filmmaking capital of the world. Screenings are held year-round at the world-famous ACME Comedy Theatre in Los Angeles, a premier comedy venue.
In association with the Los Angeles Comedy Festival, the Screening Series presents an opportunity for filmmakers to screen their comedic achievements in front of enthusiastic audiences and top industry players. Last year's Los Angeles Comedy Festival featured films starring Eric McCormack, Rosanna Arquette, Christina Ricci, Wallace Langham, Ann-Margret, Owen Benjamin, Cedric the Entertainer, Mindy Sterling, Maura Tierney, Matthew Lillard, Tim Bagley, Jennifer Elise Cox, and many other notable performers.
The Screening Series aims to discover the same high standard of films and great comedic talent, and promote its discoveries to the entertainment industry and comedy-lovers across Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Comedy Festival: Screening Series seeks to build community, help artists to make connections with industry and future collaborators, and facilitate the sharing of ideas on a monthly basis.
Selected films are eligible for an Audience Award and a Jury Award, both titles which grant the lucky filmmaker a guaranteed slot in the next Los Angeles Comedy Festival held biannually in May and November.
